Paperless Post: Designer Greeting Cards and Invitations.

I have always been a paper-and-pen kind of gal and would buy all kinds of stationery out there with matching stickers. Remember Lisa Frank? Unfortunately, with the advent of technology, those letter-writing days have been reduced to emails and text messaging. Luckily, there are websites like Paperless Post which produce beautiful online greeting cards, stationery for our notes, and even invitations for birthday parties and wedding suites.

Paperless Post is a company based in New York who has partnered with several world-famous and lifestyle brands, including Kate Spade (God bless her soul), Oscar de la Renta, Jonathan Adler, and Rifle Paper Co., and has delivered over 85 million cards to date.

There are ready-made cards for different milestones such as graduations, birthdays, weddings, and parties in general, as well as templates for professional cards and flyers.

What's nice about Paperless Post is that even if the cards are ready-made, you can customize everything from the text on the card, the backdrop, the envelope color, the liner design, and even the stamp that you'll use. Let me share with you the card I'm making for one of my good friends who's celebrating her birthday soon. I hope she doesn't read this blog entry before she receives the card though. First step is choosing a card design.

Next is changing the default text to reflect the recipient's name, the message, and your name. You can play with the formatting, typefaces, and colors too.

As an extra option, you can choose a backdrop (I chose glitters because my friend Keesa loves them),  the color of the envelope (pink!), the design of the envelope liner (polka dots), and the stamp (a unicorn, of course!). And when everything is set, you enter the recipient name and details. That's it! Another nice thing about Paperless Post is that you can schedule the card delivery at a future time so the person receives the card at the exact date and time you enter.  Never forget another birthday or anniversary again!
