You guessed it.. The much-awaited S&R Members' Treat is back!  

From September 30 to October 2 (that's next week already!), our favorite items will be discounted up to 50% or Buy 1, Take 1.  I wish Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream will be on sale.  Looking forward to hoard Chunky Monkey, Choco Chop Cookie Dough, and New York Fudge Choco! I can imagine topping S&R's US Double Choco Chop Creme Ring Cake or US Vanilla Marble Ring Cake (yes, I have a sweet tooth) with those flavors so I hope the cakes are on sale too.

For those who like street food, you have to check out SM Hypermarket's annual Streetfood Festival series. Aside from getting to taste best-selling dishes, you can also learn from the cooking demos of renowned chefs and participate in games to win exciting prizes. And before going home, stop by SM Hypermarket because the usual grocery buys will be on sale!  

Even before the advent of digital cameras and smartphones, I already love taking photos of food, landscapes, and everything in between.  I got it from my mom who documents everything, like our family trips, milestones in our lives, or even the most mundane things like eating out or going to the park.  As I grew older, I appreciated what she did for us even more because I have photos to remember those happy moments by.  It was more difficult then.. Cameras were bulky, not to mention we had to carry rolls of film and packs of batteries.  But now, it's so easy!  We always have our smartphone with us so we can just take pictures anytime.

That's why I was excited to snap photos using the new Huawei P9 smartphone because I learned that it co-engineered with Leica to come up with groundbreaking dual lenses!  I can't believe it.. Leica lenses in a smartphone! That is just wow.  

And it just so happened that I had a workcation (work + vacation) the week I received my Huawei P9 so I brought it along to try it out.  Changing the way I see the world? Check!
