I love Broadway shows but T is not really fond of them. So when he said he wanted to watch Les Miserables, which is showing at The Theater in Solaire, I immediately bought tickets. I wouldn't have gone if it were just me because I just saw the play in New York a few months ago (thank you Coach Dennis and Aby!) but this is the first time we'll be watching an international production together.
This is also the first time Cameron Mackintosh's production of Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical Les Miserables will be shown in the Philippines. And there's a Filipina in the cast.. Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine!
I booked kind of late already so I was lucky that there were still two Orchestra Center seats available.
T's mom and sister Michelle, who are my constant companions to musicals and plays in Manila, learned that T and I were watching so they also got tickets to the same date and time. In case you're wondering, no.. We didn't color coordinate our outfits. We all just ended up with something orange in our wardrobe. For my OOTD.. My dress is from Seek The Uniq, my shoes are from Linea Italia, and my bag is from Hermes.
T said he enjoyed the performance so I'm hoping this won't be the last musical we're going to watch :)
Les Miserables will be showing only until May 1 so get your tickets now via Ticket World's website (http://ticketworld.com.ph). It's really hassle-free! You can pay online and then just print your ticket at home. But if you want a hard copy of your ticket as a memento, you can opt to pick it up at a Ticket World outlet or at the venue or you can have it delivered to your home address for a fee. This is something you wouldn't want to miss!
