S&R's Summer Deals This March.

I can't believe it's summer already.  I honestly don't know where January and February went!  And we all know what summer means-- family outings, the beach, and more.  So check out these deals that S&R has in store for us this month.  You might need something for your next trip.

Farmacy Ice Cream and Soda Fountain.

After dinner in Ebeneezer's, T craved for something sweet so we walk to Farmacy Ice Cream and Soda Fountain which is around two blocks away. That's the nice thing about BGC, you can just walk from one establishment to another.

Ebeneezer's Manila Now Open in BGC.

Earlier this month, T and I were invited to try Ebeneezer's in BGC Fort.  No, it's not a franchise from Hong Kong (read my blog post about Ebeneezer's Hong Kong).  That was my first question too but our host is quick to clarify that the chef of Ebeneezer's Philippines is also one of the chefs that conceptualized the menu of Ebeneezer's Hong Kong.

Krispy Kreme's 2016 Easter Doughnuts.

It's always a nice surprise to receive a box from Krispy Kreme, especially one that contains limited editions that are too cute to eat.. Like these Krispy Kreme Easter Doughnuts!

Save Money While Shopping Using Shopback!

My family would joke that my daily workout is shopping. I could go around for hours and hours without stopping and my sister could testify to that because she is usually the one with me when we go shopping in the States. But because my current work schedule is a bit busy, I rarely go to the mall anymore and when I do, it’s to eat or watch a movie, and not really to shop. Fortunately, online shopping has boomed in the Philippines recently, making store brands available on the Internet for busy people like me.

However, I felt like I was missing on good deals because of the discounts I get which can only be applied for purchases in store. I even have a separate wallet for discount cards because I have that many. Lucky for me, now there’s Shopback!

Ichiba: Japanese Market in Resorts World Manila.

A few weeks back, T and I were invited to experience Ichiba: Japanese Market in Resorts World Manila, which is the first Japanese seafood market concept to enter the Philippines.

Ichiba is inspired by four markets in Japan: the Tsukiji market which is one of the world's largest fish markets; the Kuromon Ichiba Market which is known as Osaka's Kitchen with over 170 shops selling best quality seafood, meat, and vegetables; the Kyushu Market which is located in the Nagahama District and houses over 300 species caught from all over Kyushu; and the Hokkaido Market which is popular for its crab varieties, King, Queen, Hair, and Snow.

Sounds of Summer: Parokya ni Edgar, Up Dharma Down, and Silent Sanctuary.

Parokya ni Edgar, Up Dharma Down, and Silent Sanctuary in one concert?  Yes, it's happening this week! Three of the top bands in the country will perform in one venue for Sounds of Summer.

IHOP's National Pancake Day 2016: Eat All You Can Pancakes!

March 8 is National Pancake Day so from 7am to 10pm today, all IHOP branches will be serving unlimited Buttermilk Pancakes for only PhP250! And not only will you make your tummy happy, every 200 pesos of the 250 pesos will be donated to Kythe Foundation, which provides children with cancer and chronic illnesses the chance to learn, play, and grow while in treatment, even if they’re in the hospital.

The New Cinemas and Wing of Evia Lifestyle Center in Vista City.

Like Alabang Town Center, I've seen Evia Lifestyle Center along Daang Hari grow.  During my first visit to the mall, there were only a few establishments open.  My favorite is Starbucks because it has a drive thru.   T and I also love the Shakey's branch there because of its old fashioned pizza parlor vibe.

On the way back to Alabang from Laguna one weekend, T and I passed through the MCtex because of the really bad traffic in SLEX.   While passing Evia, we saw the Joei & Me logo in one of the tarpaulins posted in front so we parked the car to check it out.  Since we were there anyway, T suggested that we explore the new wing of Evia Mall and we were surprised with what we saw.  The inside is similar to The Venetian in Las Vegas or Macao (read my blog post about our visit to The Venetian Macao)!  All of the stores are still closed but you can wander around and take pictures.

Sisterfields in Summit Ridge Tagaytay.

Tagaytay has always been our go-to place because it's outside the Metro but not too far that we have to drive for hours. Because we're often there, T and I are always on the lookout for new restaurants and establishments to try. And that's why I said yes to an invite to one of the new restaurants by The Cravings Group in Summit Ridge Tagaytay called Sisterfields.

The Gourmand Market 2016 in BGC.

If you don't have plans this weekend, check out The Gourmand Market by nawwTy's kitchen in Bonifacio High Street Central.  It's at the C1 park in front of the new wing where the movie theaters are. The market schedule is from 11am to 11pm this weekend, March 4 to 6. A few weeks back,  T's sister Michelle and I were invited to the preview of what The Gourmand Market has to offer.
