The New Commercenter Alabang Cinemas.

THERE ARE NEW CINEMAS IN ALABANG!!!

I don't know if other people from Alabang feel the same way but this is such a big deal to me.  I remember when we only had two movie theaters in Alabang, hence the name, Twin Cinemas.  Then came Alabang Town Center and we had two more.   It's been like this for a number of years, or probably even a decade, until the new Commercenter Alabang Cinemas.

The cinemas opened just last Monday and these were the movies scheduled then.

Like I said, there are four cinemas.

T and I wanted to watch Big Hero 6 but they weren't showing it so we bought tickets to The Drop instead.

I saw this on the counter and wondered what they meant about 'doing a throwback'.

Until the lady gets a piece of paper which apparently is the movie seating plan and asked me to choose our seats.   Old school!

And not only that, they gave us movie tickets.  Like literally tickets from a roll.  How cool!

Food from outside is not allowed except if it comes from Taters or establishments inside Commercenter.

Although Taters is still on their dry run so not all items are available yet.

T and I have been wishing for new cinemas in Alabang and finally, we have them!  Plus, the seats are are really spacious and comfortable.  T and I already watched two movies since it opened.. The Drop and the advance screening of Mockingjay.

Just a tip, the a/c is really, really, REALLY cold so bring a jacket and don't wear shorts like I did :D

  3. Throwback na throwback nga ang movie tickets. Makes me miss the old-school days of watching movies when I was still in college and tickets only cost 80php.

  4. Wow it looks so different. Too bad you can't bring in food from outside. I remember when we would bring KFC chicken in the cinemas hahaha.

    1. Hello! Di ako 100% sure about this but parang I only see jeeps and buses sa may Alabang Zapote Road and the immediate corner after that. That's the nearest point na may nakita akong public transpo. Siguro you'll walk for a block and a half lang from there.

Other stops would be Festival Mall and Alabang Town Center but mas malayo na sya if you're walking. Hope that helps!

    1. Hi, I mentioned it already above (250 pesos) although I suggest you call the cinemas to make sure because prices may have changed. The contact number of the Commercenter Cinemas are also in my blog post.

    1. Hi, I haven't watched in 2D in SM MOA so I couldn't really compare but it's better than Festival Mall (although the last time I watched there was a long time ago).

  9. I've watch all movies that I want in Commerce Center Cinema Alabang.

Not crowded, the quality of the movie is good as well as the sound system.

Last week I've watched the London has Fallen, we're like 8 people in the cinema.

This afternoon, I will watch Allegiant. When I buy a ticket this lunch, hey I'm the first one. hehehhe

You'll love it when you are a loner but not lonely.

    Peace yow!!!
