Baguio Country Club's Famous Raisin Bread and Banana Bread Are Now Available in Manila!

Baguio Country Club's raisin bread is one of my top three favorite things ever, EVER.   But because Baguio is so far away, I only get to taste this when I go there once a year or when my thoughtful "little sister" Misty Zara gets me a loaf or two during her family vacations (which was quite often back in the day).

In the recent years, however, I can only crave and dream about this raisin bread since I don't go to Baguio anymore and neither does Misty.  That is, until I heard that THE raisin bread is now available in Metro Manila!  At first I thought it was just some hoax or a copycat but when I asked Tempura Japanese Grill if the rumors were true, they confirmed that their raisin bread and banana bread are the authentic ones from Baguio Country Club.  I could just die of happiness!

Thank you so much Tempura Japanese Grill for giving me all of these goodies.  I can't believe I can finally eat Baguio Country Club's raisin bread again after all those years of craving.  The banana bread is a plus, too!

The famous Baguio Country Club raisin bread and banana bread are now available in 3 Tempura Japanese Grill branches: Banawe Avenue (02) 740-9544, Alabang Town Center (02) 850-2136, and  Tomas Morato (02) 374-7460.

In Alabang, these breads are always sold out. The day I got mine, there were three people at the nail spa where I was, who all had Baguio Country Club paper bags.  And while I was walking around Alabang Town Center, I saw a few more carrying these paper bags.  So better call to reserve before you go!

For more information, visit Tempura Japanese Grill's Facebook Page.  Thanks again Vea and Ruby!

    1. It's 200 here in Manila. Not sure how much the price is in Baguio now but I would assume it's a bit cheaper in Baguio Country Club mismo :) Although someone said it's being sold in SM Baguio :)
