Hong Kong (part 5): Ramen Iroha x Hello Kitty.

...continued from Hong Kong (part 4): NikeLab and Sogo Mall

We were all very hungry after all the walking and walking and... walking.  Dianne suggested that we try this ramen place that has a collaboration with Hello Kitty for its 40th anniversary, Ramen Iroha.

Everything is Hello Kitty!  The counters...

…the chopsticks…

….Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty!

T ordered a Kirin Beer (2 for HKD39/$5) while I ordered a Coke Zero which came in a cute, little bottle.

T's ramen arrived first.

He ordered the No. 1 ramen on the menu,  Black Soy Sauce Ramen (HKD90/$11) with leek and flavored half boiled egg.

I wanted to try the Hello Kitty Ramen so that's what I ordered.  I like the flavored hard boiled egg on my ramen.    I usually don't like yolk that isn't well done but I like this.

Dianne got the White Salted Shrimp Ramen (HKD95/$12.26) with Japanese char siu.

Ara ordered the Sapporo Miso Ramen (HKD90/$12.26) with flavored half boiled egg.

Here we are, recharged and ready to walk again! ;)

Thumbs Up!
Two words: Hello Kitty.
Huge servings even for the normal-sized ramen bowls.
Despite being full of people all the time, service is still good.

Thumbs Down!
Crazy long lines, especially during lunch or dinner rush.
No washroom inside.

Ramen is ok, nothing great, but ok.  But it's worth paying a visit here for the novelty of it, especially for Hello Kitty fans.
