...continued from My Three-Oh in Boracay: Prelude.
After an hour's flight from Manila, we landed at the Godofredo P. Ramos Terminal in Caticlan.
After an hour's flight from Manila, we landed at the Godofredo P. Ramos Terminal in Caticlan.
As soon as we got out of the airport, our guide was already there with a placard bearing the resort's name.
He led us to a van which brought us to the port. The travel time from the airport to the port is around 5 minutes.
We stayed at the lounge for a while until our boat transfer was ready.
The boat ride from the Caticlan port to Boracay Island is around 10 minutes. During the ride, we were offered wet towels and bottled water. At the Boracay port, another van picked us up and brought us to the resort.
T and I stayed at the Two Seasons Resort, which is located along White Beach. It is aptly named after the two distinct seasons in the Philippines, wet and dry.
While they were preparing our room keys, they gave me and T welcome drinks that tasted like a mix of oranges and strawberries. Refreshing!
Two Seasons has only 34 rooms, which is why during summer, it is almost impossible to get a room unless you book months in advance. This is the main hallway and where the Standard Rooms are located.
If you're traveling with children, the best room to get is the one with pool access. The room's back door opens up directly to the pool so it's perfect for kids. Just make sure it's locked when there are no adults around.

The bathroom is spacious and covered in marble from the floor to the walls. A basket filled with toiletries such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, vanity kits, shower caps, sewing kits, and everything else I may need is placed between the his & hers sink.
At the leftmost corner of the bathroom is a large bath area with a rainshower head.
But despite the lovely suite, there was nothing T would rather do than to feel the warmth of the sand beneath our feet. So after settling in and changing into my swimsuit, I grabbed my summer hat and we went to the beach.
