Mind Body Soul's The Beach Body Project.

Remember the Mind Body and Soul yoga-finance retreat I blogged about previously? Well here's another one that's perfect for busy people from the Metro since it's only a half-day event at the Forbes Park Pavilion in Makati... The Beach Body Project.

Chef's Noodle Robinson's Magnolia.

This week, I was invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony of Chef's Noodle's branch in Robinson's Magnolia.  The restaurant was brought to the Philippines through a master franchise from South Korea.

Vivere Hotel Alabang (part 3): The Nest.

...continued from Part 2 (The Lama Pool and Cafe Art)

Vivere Hotel has a restaurant at the 31st floor called The Nest.

Vivere Hotel Alabang (part 2): The Lama Pool and Cafe Art.

...continued from Part 1 (The Executive Suite)

After settling down, I went around Vivere Hotel to check what other amenities they had. I asked one of the managers I ran into where the pool was and she told me that it was on the 4th floor. When the elevator opened, I saw this dark walkway and thought I was lost.

Vivere Hotel Alabang (part 1): The Executive Suite.

When Maynilad announced that there will be interruption in the water service, my mom suggested that we stay in one of the hotels in the Alabang area and might as well have a staycation. She booked a suite at the Vivere Hotel.

My Birthday Giveaway (part 1): Win a Customized Canvas Print of Your Favorite Photo! (CLOSED)

If you haven't joined my other birthday giveaway, join now by clicking HERE.  I'm giving away P6,000 worth of prizes!

You know it's summer when your social media feed is filled with getaways, out of town trips or staycations. And thanks to technology, it's easy to capture every detail of the best memories we share with our loved ones. The downside of everything becoming digital is that we forget to print out these photos. Which is why I always appreciate gifts that reflect these moments such as this canvas print of myself walking along one of the beaches of Dos Palmas.
And lucky us, Kanvas Inc is giving away one 12x12 canvas print with wooden frame (similar to mine) to a lucky reader of Joei & Me! Of course, the winner gets to choose the photo he or she wants to have printed.

Consider this as the first part of my birthday giveaway. My birthday isn't until May but I'll be having more giveaways in the days to come ;)

How to join the Kanvas giveaway? Just follow the instructions via the Rafflecopter below:

Miraculous Infant Jesus dela Providencia.

If you're from the South and wondering what to do on Good Friday or Black Saturday, you can visit the Miraculous Sto Nino de Providencia in BF Resort Village. I learned about it while we were doing Visita Iglesia yesterday with my mom and her friends. Tita Norma Tanwangco, one of mom's friends, said she wanted to pass by the Sto Nino that was crying oil. I haven't heard of it so I wanted to see it as well.

Palm Beach Resort in Laiya, Batangas.

If you're thinking where you can go this Holy Week, I suggest Palm Beach Resort (formerly La Frondosa) in Laiya, Batangas. This is where T and I stayed when we attended theMind Body Soul's finance & yoga retreat a few weekends ago. It's only a few hours drive from Manila so less moolah and preparation are needed.

Just Thai in Molito Alabang.

Coming from Cebu, I thought I wouldn't make it to the invitation of fellow book club member Patty Cuyugan and Kathy Ngo of Just Thai in Molito Arcade because of the delays in the flight schedules. After finally landing in Manila, I was so drained and sleepy but I really wanted to go. So, I decided to take a quick shower in the hope of waking my almost-already-sleeping brain.
