Luna Specialty Coffee in Bonifacio Global City.

If you're a coffee aficionado looking for a new cafe to try, check out Luna Specialty Coffee in Bonifacio Global City.  The cafe is owned by Lino Cayetano who is an avid fan of coffee (and who recently got married to Fille Cainglet, congratulations!) so you're sure to be served the best brew.

That day, T and his business partners in Look/See Sunglasses dropped by Titan Two Parkade because it was the first day the brand is launched in the Philippines.  Since we all haven't had breakfast yet, I suggested Luna Specialty Coffee, which is just a short walk from Titan.

For sneakerheads and collectors: Follow Look/See Philippines on Twitter @lookseeph and Instagram @lookseeph :)

These signs are on the tables and countertops.  I can imagine people taking photos to post on Instagram.  So, are you available or taken? ;)

Here's T wearing his Look/See sunglasses and holding the appropriate *ahem* sign.

On the counter are coffee cups which I thought are just decors until I saw one of the barristas pouring coffee in it!  Order the Luna Brew so you can see it for yourself.

Luna specializes in coffee but serves Filipino breakfast favorites all day!  Check out their menu.

T got the Angus Pares (P330/$7.33) which is a play on a classic Filipino favorite.  Admittedly, I have not tried pares before but T said it tastes like the original pares only Luna's version uses angus!

Pares means "pair" (beef + soup) so like the classic favorite, the Luna version also comes with a small bowl of soup.

On the other hand, I got the Smoked Bangus (P220/$5).  I really like the mix of flavors in this dish. The bangus, the tuyo rice, and the salted egg on top all blend well together.

It was pretty hot that day so instead of coffee, these juices got my attention.

I got a glass of Melon Juice which reminded me of my grade school days because my mom always makes this for us.

When we were done eating, we were sent Rustic Pancakes with Bacon Bits and Cheese (P335/$7.50).  Another must try!  If you don't like cheese, you can have it with Snow Sugar and Coco Jam (P220/$4.88) or Saba and Chocolate Chocnut (P285/$6.85).  Pretty interesting, huh?

Thumbs Up!
Good coffee.
Quick service.
All-day breakfast.

Thumbs Down!
Nothing really except that the cafe has limited seats and no reservations (I tried but they said they don't accept reservations) so it might be difficult to get seat during peak hours.

T and I will be back to try the other dishes and the pie cups!
