K-Pub BBQ Meat All You Can.

Ever wonder what that bright shiny establishment is beside Prive?  It looks like a nightclub from afar but it's a meat-all-you-can Korean restaurant called K-Pub BBQ.

K-Pub BBQ offers two kinds of meat all you can which they call "challenges":

1. Eat and Run (P499/$12)
You have 1 hour to order anything and everything you can.  Clock starts after the first order of meat is served. Meats available are:

Ssam Gyup Sal (pork belly)
Dae Pae Ssam Gyup Sal (thinly sliced pork belly)
Yangnyum Samkyupsal (sweet n' spicy pork belly)
Daeji Kalbi (tender pork marinated in soy and garlic)
Dak Bulgogi (marinated chicken fillets)
Dak Kalbi (sweet and spicy chicken fillets)
Chadolbaki (beef sukiyaki)

2. No Limits (P899/$21)
You can eat with no time constraints. You also get all the meat from the first set plus:

Kpub Beef Kalbi (marinated short ribs)
Kalbi Sal (rib finger)
Beef Bulgogi (beef in soy and garlic)
L.A. Kalbi (cross cut short ribs)
Red Wine Ssam Gyup Sal (pork belly marinated in red wine)

T and I chose the Eat and Run challenge since we eat pretty fast.  Let the games begin!

We were first given the Soup of the Day.

Our server started us with Banchan or assorted side dishes.

Then he gave us Mixed Salad Greens with House Dressing.

We were also given extra lettuce for the meat.

Two kinds of rice are available for the challenges, Kimchi Fried Rice or Steamed Rice.

I love the different kinds of sauce they have.  I want to buy them and are probably available in a Korean grocery.  I just need to know what they're called.  Anybody know what the red paste is?

Like I mentioned earlier, there are different kinds of meat.  Our server took the lead and ordered what he thought we should try first.

He also stayed and cooked the meat for us.  Super accommodating! After a while, T and I finished our first set of meat and ordered another set.

While our second set of meat was cooking, our server gave us Ke Ran Ggim or steamed eggs.  I wasn't able to taste this since I'm not really fond of steamed eggs but T finished half of the pan.

Our server also gave us Kimchi Pajeon or kimchi pancakes.

In front of us is a widescreen showing different K-Pop videos.  As we were finishing dinner, they showed a video of Korean stars singing Happy Birthday in Korean.

Apparently, it's the birthday of one of the persons seated in the next table.  So the servers, including the Korean manager, danced to the

Probably nice to have a party here and reserve one of these rooms.

After one hour, both T and I were full.  Just in time.  Our server then gave us Shike which is a sweet healthy rice drink.

Just some 'House Rules' to remember:

Rule #1 - Those who are seated in one table should get the same challenge.

Rule #2 - Everyone in the table should get the same challenge.

Rule #3 - A minimum of two persons is required for the Eat and Run challenge.  If you're dining solo, you are required to get the No Limits challenge.

Rule #4 - No sharing from other tables, no left overs (obviously).

If you get the Eat and Run challenge, your server will remind you at the 45 minute mark.  You have the option of either converting to a No Limit challenge or pay for a Top Up which is a 30 minute extension and which can be used up to three times.

T and I were happy with just the plain Eat and Run challenge.

Thumbs Up!
The P499 set is definitely value for your money.
Friendly and accommodating servers.
Entertaining dining experience.

Thumbs Down!
Nothing really.

Verdict
We'll definitely be back!

"Clock starts after the first order of meat is served"

The server started the clock when he placed all of our meat orders on the table. Hope that helps!

    1. Hi! During the time we were there, we were allowed to eat even after 1 hour. It was the ordering that was stopped. But they also have a policy regarding left overs so don't order too much ;)

  16. Is it 899 per table or per head? We're planning to go there kasi but some of my friends are hesitant kung sulit ba yung 899 since di naman daw sila malakas kumain.

    1. Per person of course :) check the PhP499 option, baka mas sulit.
