Dos Palmas (part 3): The Resort's Beach and Paranarian Spa.

continued from part 2....

Coming from Islang Puting Buhangin, T and I decided to explore the beach on the main island and find a place where we could have something to eat.

On the shore are kayaks which checked-in guests can borrow for free.

T and I found big cabanas by the beach.

This was our view for the afternoon.  So serene.

We weren't really that hungry since we had a buffet for breakfast so we just got a few drinks and something light to eat for lunch.

T got a Fish Fillet Sandwich.

While I got my usual, ever-favorite Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

T did a "few" push ups...

...and went on to tan the day away.

Then he woke up, climbed trees....

...and took a couple of pictures of me :)

The cover up I'm wearing is one of my favorites.  It's by a schoolmate of mine, Angelie Sevilla.  She has really nice stuff in her Facebook Page: Se La Vie.  Another place where you can get nice swimsuits and cover-ups is Zalora.  My bikini is from Anemone and they have an online store there.

It was also this day that we discovered the "panorama" function of my iPhone.  So expect a lot of shots in this post.

The pool is just behind us so we dipped in whenever we felt too hot after tanning.  The cold water of the pool was more soothing to our skin than the warm, salty ocean.

Here is T with his "bloob bloob bloob" pose, which he does in all of our trips.

T took a nice panorama of the pool area (that's me swimming!)

After that, we washed up and prepared for our massage.  Services are usually done in Paranarian Spa's main area but we were informed that one of the water cottages is available as a venue.  I thought it would be nice to feel the cool ocean breeze while having a massage so we had ours there.

T and I had the Dos Palmas Signature Massage (1,800/$45 per person) which is a 90-minute massage with a fusion of Eastern, Western, and deep tissue techniques.  It also features Thai stretching, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi strokes and Reiki.

By the time we were done, it was almost sunset, providing us with this nice view.

T and I went to the other cottages to see what's inside.  We found a videoke set up in one.

T sang away while I sat on this chair.

Our next activity was... Dinner!

We ordered Prawns and Pinaputukang Isda (fish cooked in banana leaves) with rice.

I had my usual Watermelon Shake.

For dessert, we had Fresh Fruits and Cake.

This day was completely relaxing for both of us.  T and I were already recharged and yet we still have one more day on the island.  Plus, I think our tanning was a success!  Compare our skin color here to photos taken of us earlier.  Yay!

to be continued...
