The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences (Part 1): Tour of the Loft.

For T's early birthday celebration, I booked a loft at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences.

The Picasso Boutique has two lofts and several other rooms and suites. It's in the heart of Makati but is a nice place to have a staycation on a weekend. The loft is good for two persons with a rate of P15,000/$400 per night. For other room rates and room inclusions, click HERE.

Day 1

I chose The Picasso because it has everything apartments are supposed to have like a stove and other kitchen amenities. But it is also a hotel which means I don't have to worry about cleaning up after the party!

This is Christian. He assisted us with checking-in.

He gave us a folder with our room key, coupons and some hotel info. Everything was hassle-free except that he asked for a deposit of P5,000/$125, to be refunded upon checking out. I didn't mind if this was some kind SOP but they could've informed me beforehand when they confirmed my booking.

There's another waiting area in the lobby with newspapers and a chess table to keep guests occupied.

Near the elevators is a creepy clown.

There are two lofts at The Picasso and only one of them has a balcony, Room 801.

Upon entering, T and I were wowed. This is the dining area.

On the opposite side is the kitchen. There is an electric stove, a microwave, and a fridge.

They have Arizona teas, my favorite!

They also have Fiji water, T's water of choice now.

After the dining area are bubble chairs positioned in front of the TV.

These are the stairs leading to the bedroom.

Of course, there's a dresser table and mirror.

Staying true to its name, even The Picasso's tissue holder is covered with art.

This is the bedroom.

Like I said, only Room 801 has a balcony.

This is the bathroom.

There's a shower and a toilet to the right and a bathtub to the left.

You know me and my penchant for hotel/resort toiletries. The Picasso's toiletries seem to be their own, like Discovery Shores Boracay.

So after touring the loft, it was time to prepare for T's Stache Bash! I'll write about it in my next post but here's a preview.
