Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt.

I first tried Pinkberry at Fashion Island in Newport Beach (California) with my sister and cousins and I loved it! There's usually a long line around this place so that alone says a lot about their yogurt.

That's why I was so happy to hear that they opened a branch at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell!

Pinkberry yogurts are not sugar-free (17g of sugar for the small cup except chocolate which has even more sugar) but at least they're fat free. This is ultimately better than binging on chocolates when I'm craving for something sweet.

These are the toppings available but, like I said, I'm trying to go sugar-free so I'll be skipping them for now.

These are the fruit toppings available in their Newport Beach branch in California.

They have exactly the same toppings (and even almost the same arrangement) in their branch in the Philippines.

T got chocolate yogurt.

I, on the other hand, wanted to try Pinkberry's newest flavor.. Coconut!

Check out my first Pinkberry yogurt from Newport Beach.

And then compare it to my yogurt now. Plain Jane! I got coconut and mango. Strange combination but really good!

Pinkberry has a "Chilly Bliss Bag" (P400/$11) for sale which is definitely much cuter than the bags being sold in other yogurt places.

Thumbs Up!
Makes it to my top 3 favorite yogurt places in the Philippines.

Thumbs Down!
They have 2g more sugar than other yogurt brands.
Their chocolate yogurt isn't really that super (prefer Golden Spoon over it)

Verdict
Will go back for the coconut and mango flavors but not for their chocolate (which I rarely have anyway since I'm trying to cut on sugar).

  1. Didn't we have Pinkberry before pa? Sa Subic or Clark? Although I might be mistaking it for some other brand pa. =)

  2. TIN. I'm not sure.. The branches I know of are Rockwell and Greenbelt. And besides, even if they have in Subic, it's too far a drive just for yogurt :P
