BF Homes in Parañaque has been quite a mecca for hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I previously wrote about a good steak place along Aguirre (read my blog post on Borgo Cafe). Now, let me introduce you to a place that serves authentic Singaporean fare.. Food De' Sentosa.

After my Singapore and Malaysia (read my blog entry on Kuala Lumpur) trips with my family, I suddenly craved for Singaporean food.

I know of only one place around the area but since Singaporean cuisine wasn't really our usual, unlike Japanese food, T and I never thought of eating before.

Upon entering Food De' Sentosa, we were greeted by ladies in Singaporean outfits.

The dining area isn't that big. That's already a reflection of me and T in the mirror.

The color motif is purple. Purple seats, purple ceiling.

They have a television set in the dining area but the shows that were on were only Singaporean tv shows.

Behind me is a little souvenir shop of cute knickknacks from Singapore.

Everything was Singaporean except for their menu, which I thought had an Egyptian feel to it.

Closer look.

What I was craving for

Hainanese

Sauces

Curry

Rice

Thumbs Up
Accommodating owner.
Friendly servers.
Generous serving size.
Thumbs Down
Nothing really. Just don't expect anything grand. This is a hole-in-the-wall, very lowkey.
Verdict
If ever I'd crave Singaporean again, I'll drop by this place.
