Boracay Labor Day Weekend.

I can't believe it's been over a week since Labor Day Weekend. I guess I still have the 'Boracay hangover', like everyone else. It's one of those you'd-have-to-be-there-to-understand trips but I'll try my best to make you feel the island fever through this entry.

Day 1

T and I arrived in Boracay a little after noon. After resting for a bit in our resort (read my blog entry about Le Soleil de Boracay), we went to White House for the Vans Party.  Look at all the people!

The nice thing about going to Boracay during a holiday is running into friends you haven't seen in a long time!

Me and friend from high school and distant cousin, Waldo Bautista.

Another friend from high school, Jec Lacson.

And another friend from high school, Neil Arce.

And yet another friend from high school! Ladies man, Carlo Trillo.

Goofing around with Maxene Magalona.

Even when everyone else was getting rowdy, these guys remained cool and collected.

Champ Lui Pio, Marlon, and T.

High school friends Carl and Neil.

T and I were so tired from the event that instead of a power nap, we slept through the night! Our friend Roda King sent us this photo of the party we were supposed to go to in Epic (with the caption "this is what you missed" :D) and wow! Seemed like a fun night!

Day 2

Since we slept early, we woke up earlier than everyone else. Some people were even on their way home from the parties while T and I were having breakfast ;)

After eating, T and I walked along the shore but the heat was too much. We stopped at Ambassador in Paradise to get something cold to drink. Our friends were finally awake and went there, too.

I don't drink water. My body probably gets 3 glasses of water a WEEK at the most, even in this heat. But Boracay was different. I craved for water!

T and I only meant to get fruit shakes but the photos on the menu were so tempting! We ended up ordering pasta, pizza and a burger.

Surprisingly the food was really, really good! And when we found a small bug cooked inside the pizza, they gave us a whole new pizza.

Someone's finally getting some sun!

After eating, we went to White House because our friend Darrel, who was with us in Ambassador, had to prepare for the Antonov event.  T and I stayed with Nica Chua and Erick Alido while Darrel prepped for the event.

Nica gave the girls Antonov racerback tanks and the guys Antonov shirts.

The shirts were too small for T and Ralph Dimatulac so they decided to play tailor.

After snipping here and there... The end product? A caveman shirt!

And when Erick brought out the Patron...

...the party began.

Erick and T.

With T, Erick, Mark, Marlon, and Ralph.

Ralph, T, and Martin Jickain.

Me and T.

When DJ Darrel played his mixes, the crowd started to gather around White House.

DJ Darrel preparing for the event.

More people arriving.

It was a fun, fun afternoon. Everyone was happy singing and dancing until the sun went down.

Now we know where all these people in the airport went... White House Boracay!

Meet the man of the hour --- DJ Darrel del Pilar!

We weren't expecting anything that afternoon so T left his Flipcam in our room.  Good thing Ralph took a video of the event.

Here's the video that he took. You have to watch it!

Fun, fun afternoon! Thanks to these guys! :)

Maggie Tirol, Martin, and Nica.

Someone finally got out of her 'little corner' and joined the party. Good morning Bubbs! :D

Me and Bubbles Paraiso.

T and I went back to our resort to have dinner and rest.

Me and T

T and I aren't really powernappers so we overslept and went to Epic at around 2 in the morning already. It was raining and the place was packed so we decided to just find some food. I knew of only 3 places around the area open that time of night: Andok's, Jammers and Ole. We went to Ole.

T was craving for garlicky food so we got garlic bread, garlic chicken and garlic mushrooms.

After eating, we joined our friends in Epic but didn't stay long. We were sleepy from all the food we ate so we called it a night.

Day 3

After breakfast, T and I had a massage at Neo Island Day Spa in Pearl of the Pacific (will write about this also in another entry).

After the massage, we met up with some friends in front of White House.

With the Bacani sisters, Garet and Claud.

With T and his friends.

I realized that we didn't have much photos on the beach during the day! So I went trigger happy and took as much photos as I could.

With Pinggoy and T.

With Garet and Claud again.

Me and T.

And then we heard familiar music playing. Guess who's back?

It's DJ Darrel!

Also hearing the music, the crowd began to gather again in front of White House.

T and I stayed on the beach to catch our last sunset in Boracay.  It was beautiful!  Our friend Pinggoy calls it, "sunset galore!"

After watching the sunset, T and I  went to the cabana where DJ Darrel and some of our other friends were.

Frank Magalona, Ralph, T, and Chino LuiPio

T, Nikka, Maggie Tirol, Martin, and Ralph.

T, Derek Ramsay, and Nica.

T, Maxx, Derek, Nica, and Maggie.

T, Ralph, Erick, Nica.

Derek, me, Maxx, and Nica.

The guys are probably more familiar with Ashley Rivera aka Petra Mahalimuyak.  Search for her in YouTube. Her videos are funny!

Gracious hosts, Maggie Tirol and Martin Jickain.  Thank you for a fun, fun Labor Day weekend! :)

Turn the crowd up now, We'll never back down
Shoot down a skyline, watch it in primetime
Turn up the love now, listen up now, turn up the love...

Who's gonna save the world tonight?
Who's gonna bring you back to life?
We're gonna make it, you and I
We're gonna Save The World tonight...
