Halloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain.
Samhain was a time used by the ancient pagans to take stock of supplies and prepare for winter. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead overlapped and the deceased would come back to life.
Where will you be this Halloween? Just remember: If you hear foot steps behind you on this night, don't look back. It may be the dead following you. Turning back could mean that you will soon join the dead.

Where is that abandoned monastery? That's interesting.
ReplyDeleteAbandoned buildings always seemed super mysterious to me!..
ReplyDeleteAs for Halloween here, it's not celebrated here traditionally, but it's become very popular within the club scene and some like to host costume or just spooky parties at their places. And well, I've only gotten to celebrate it once and it was a long time ago, so nothing to report on, really :) It's not that I never wanted, it just never happened lol
Turning back could mean that you will soon join the dead.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, scary!!!
