Trick or Treat!

Halloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain.

Samhain was a time used by the ancient pagans to take stock of supplies and prepare for winter. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead overlapped and the deceased would come back to life.

At an abandoned monastery that was bombed by the Japanese during the 1940's.  Something is truly wrong with the place.  My sister and I love the thrill of ghost hunting but this one left us with a heavy, heavy feeling in our hearts.  Probably too many tortured souls still trapped in there.

Where will you be this Halloween? Just remember: If you hear foot steps behind you on this night, don't look back. It may be the dead following you. Turning back could mean that you will soon join the dead.

  1. We usually just spend our Halloween and All Saints' Day at home, watching tv and sharing stories. Anyway, the last part you posted scared me a bit.. >.<

Have a happy Halloween and safe All Saints' Day.

PS: Following your blog now. Hope you can check mine too. Thanks!

  2. Where is that abandoned monastery? That's interesting.

  3. Abandoned buildings always seemed super mysterious to me!..

As for Halloween here, it's not celebrated here traditionally, but it's become very popular within the club scene and some like to host costume or just spooky parties at their places. And well, I've only gotten to celebrate it once and it was a long time ago, so nothing to report on, really :) It's not that I never wanted, it just never happened lol

  4. Turning back could mean that you will soon join the dead.

    Oh, wow, scary!!!

  5. Creepy! Duwag pa naman ako. Hehehe! =D

Thank you for the love!

I enjoy meeting fellow bloggers and readers from all over so feel free to comment and I'll get back to you as soon as I can :)
