For the first time, T agreed to write for my blog so we're doing this particular vacation series together. Yey! The first part is an overview of our stay in Bellarocca (the island featured in my previous post) through T's eyes. Hence, his cat signature at the bottom instead of mine. Even the photos were all taken by T.
...continued from the Prelude
Bellarocca is an experience best enjoyed first hand rather than just seen through the lens of a camera. Although the photos speak for themselves, the beauty of the place can not be justified by merely looking at them.
The whole aura of the island gives a soothing feeling incomparable to the other islands or beach resorts I have been to. It is true that there is not much to do in Bellarocca but that's what makes it more special. It really gives a whole new meaning to sitting back and relaxing. The calmness... the serenity... the breathtaking panoramic views... It is very inspiring.
I found myself just lying down by the beach and staring at the beauty of what the island offered. It felt like my mind was checking out of all the other things that was going on around me... Like meditating but not really meditating. Staring blankly at sea, taking in the noise of the crashing waves by the coast... Staring at the mountain range by the mainland... Thinking that how awesome it was to have something that great be more than what it already was, without ruining or destroying what was already there. It's like the resort was just incorporated in the island without disturbing its original beauty.
